Library and Faculty Collaboration Series: Incorporating Subject Matter Library Resources into Illinois Compass

CITES Educational Technologies and the Library are partnering together to offer a series of subject matter workshops to faculty and their respective discipline-specific librarians.

These workshops will provide examples of how you can embed library resources into your course. Subject librarians will work with you to add relevant links and resources into subject specific folders using Illinois Compass. They will also show you possibilities for working together to create a customized Library Resources page for your students. Other new Illinois Compass features will be demonstrated.

Sessions are coordinated by discipline and other subject areas may be offered next Spring. Even if you have never used Illinois Compass or don't see your subject area listed, please feel free to sign up for a session that works for you.

  • October 29 - Education
  • October 30 - Languages & Culture
  • October 31 - General Session
  • November 6 - Sociology & Women and Gender Studies
  • December 4 - History
  • December 5 - Psychology
