Making the Grade: Assessing Student Performance Using Illinois Compass

This workshop is a concurrent session of the 2007 Faculty Summer Institute. U of I faculty may attend this session without attending the conference as a registered participant. Faculty teaching for Summer Sessions I & II as well as Fall 2007 are encouraged to receive training prior to teaching with the NEW Illinois Compass. Workshop registration is required.

This will be a hands-on session with the Illinois Compass assignment and assessment tools. We will create an assignment and assessment within Illinois Compass and talk about best practices and common mistakes, such as selection criteria settings.

  • Importing from Respondus and other programs

    This session will be taught by Diana Norris and Linda Lee, Senior Blackboard Certified Trainers at Carl Sandburg College. They are Faculty Summer Institute Speakers.
